DBS Names New Malaysia Chief

has appointed a new Malaysia country head to take over from Mr Jeffrey Ling, who is due to retire from the job. Abdul Raof Latiff will take over from him at the start of June.

Besides his new country management responsibilities, Latiff will continue to oversee DBS' institutional banking ecosystems and strategic platform partnerships.
Latiff, who is the group head of digital for institutional banking at DBS, as well as group head of global transaction services product management, will hand over the role to Lim Soon Chong.
Lim, who was appointed to this position on 1 January to ensure a smooth handover, has worked across consumer, wealth, risk management and corporate treasury, the bank said.
Latiff joined DBS in 2017.
